In honor of one of our elders, the late Robert L. Jordan, each year we seek to help a faithful family in their time of need. This entire weekend will be dedicated to raising funds to assist Deacon Emeritus James Frazier and family. Bro. Frazier means a great deal to the Midwest family, serving as a selfless deacon for decades. He has since been diagnosed with dementia, rendering him unable to continue to serve in this capacity. In 2023 he lost his wife of nearly seventy years, and main caregiver, our sister Bertha Frazier. The family has been working diligently to provide the love, care, and assistance that he needs.
It is our prayer that our brothers and sisters in Christ will share in our efforts to lighten their load. Midwest has committed to contributing at least the first $1,000. We are asking each congregation to do whatever you can to help in this act of love. We are asking that all funds be in by November 4th. You can contribute by utilizing one of the following methods:
