Hello brothers and sisters of Midwest church of Christ.
In light of the current situation concerning the Coronavirus, we felt it necessary to address our Midwest family. We want you all to be made aware that our Sunday corporate worship gatherings will carry on as scheduled at the Midwest church. We will maintain all safety measures provided to states by the National Center for Disease Control (.CDC), to include:
Worship Assemblies:
- All of our worship assemblies and adult level bible studies will be offered either in person with limited seating or virtually via our www.facebook.om/midwestcoc
- Youth bible studies will only meet virtually
Safety Precautions:
- Mask must be worn at all times in the facility
- All who enter are subject to Temperature checks
- Individuals are asked to remain six feet apart at all times
- Individuals who display symptoms will be politely asked to exit and will be able to return once proof of a negative COVID-19 test is provided.
- The sanctuary, bathrooms, pews, and other surfaces such as doorknobs and railings are being cleaned and sanitized daily prior to our member’s entry.
- Hand sanitizer will be stationed at the sanctuary’s entrance and around the building.
- Understand that precautions are being taken to ensure the safety of our members.
Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI):
- Our Family Life and Development Center will be open only to students who need special assistance with their daily assignments between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM Monday through Thursday.

All members are asked to utilize their best judgement for attendance. Members that have compromised immune systems, exhibit any flu-like systems, senior members (60 and up), or individuals with any other health challenges are encouraged to take advantage of our online streaming services at www.facebook.com/midwestcoc
- You also have the opportunity to utilize our online giving platform via our website www.midwestchurchofchrist.org or via CashApp $midwestcofc
- Members will have the opportunity to pick up communion packets between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the church building throughout the week
We know that the country is facing uncertainty, but we have certainty that we can depend on Jesus the Christ. Looking forward to a powerful time of worship of our God and the encouragement of our brothers and sisters this is coming Sunday. If you are well, we want you all to share with us.
